Tpl (Mrs) P.I. Adenuga (Director, Regional and Master Plan Department). She holds a B.Sc. Degree in Geography and Regional Planning (1983) and Master Degree in Urban and Regional Planning (1986) from the prestigious University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. She was also an Alma Mata of St Maria Goretti Girls Grammar School, Benin City for her post Primary Education between 1974 – 1979 where she obtained the West African School Certificate (WASC).
Tpl (Mrs) Adenuga’s sojourn in the Lagos State Civil Service commenced in 1987 as an Education Officer with the Ministry of Education. She later obtained a lateral transfer to the then Ministry of the Environment and Physical Planning in 1989 in order to pursue her core professional calling (Town Planning). Over the years she has served in various capacities at different Agencies and Departments of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development while rising through different grade levels to her present position. She was one of the pioneer officers who anchored the Local Planning Authority in 1988 where she served as the Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Mainland LPA which was setup in accordance with the Nigerian Urban and Regional Planning law of 1992.
She qualified as a Registered Town Planner (RTP) with the Town Planner Registration council of Nigeria (TOPREC) and has 30 years post qualification experience. She is also a member of Nigeria Institute of Town Planners (MNITP)
She is happily married with children and her hobbies include cooking and reading.
