KABIRU AHMED ABDULLAHI Arch. — Special Adviser 2019-January, 2020
Arch. KABIRU AHMED ABDULLAHI was born on December 29, 1966 in Agege, Lagos State. He had his primary school education at St. Peters Blessed School II, Agege between 1974 and 1980 from where he obtained the First Leaving School Certificate [FLSC]. He proceeded to Iloro Grammar School, Agege for his secondary school education and came out successful with the West African School Certificate [WASC] in 1985. Thereafter, he went to the School of Basic Studies, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for his I.J.M.B, A-levels between 1986 and 1987.
On completion of his A-levels, he was admitted into the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree [B.Sc] in Architecture in 1990, the Master of Science degree [M.Sc] in 1993.
He began his working career when he served as member, Local Education Authority, Agege Local Government in 1990 after which he was appointed Manager, Property Development at Participant Properties Limited from 1994-1996. He also worked as Chairman, Lagos State Planning & Environmental Monitoring Authority [LASPEMA] from 2001-2007, and became the General Manager of the same Agency in 2007 and served till 2015. Thereafter, he was appointed the Executive Secretary, Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission where he served till date.
His foray into politics began when he was elected as President, Students Union of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He was a Vice Chairmanship candidate under the National Republican Party [NRC] in Agege Local Government in 1990.He was a foundation member of the Action Congress of Nigeria [ACN]and the All Progressives Congress [APC].
